The 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) scheme will be released on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
The government will spend 20,000 crore to transfer 2,000 to more than 9.4 crore farmers across the country.
Over 9.4 crore farmers will receive 2,000 each as part of this installment.
With the release of this installment, the total funds disbursed under the PM-KISAN scheme will reach approximately 3.45 lakh crore.
The scheme has supported more than 11 crore farmers nationwide since its inception.
Farmers can check their eligibility by visiting the official PM-KISAN website, navigating to the beneficiary list page, and entering their state, district, sub-district, block, and village details.
Farmers can check their beneficiary status by visiting the official PM-KISAN website, going to the 'Beneficiary Status' section, and providing either their Aadhaar number or account number.
There are three methods to complete the eKYC process: OTP-based eKYC, biometric-based eKYC, and face-authentication eKYC.
To complete OTP-based eKYC, farmers need an active Aadhaar-linked mobile number. They can do this by going to the PM-KISAN portal, clicking on 'e-KYC,' entering their Aadhaar number, and submitting the OTP.
Biometric eKYC is available at over four lakh Common Service Centres (CSC) and State Seva Kendras (SSK). Farmers can visit their nearest CSC/SSK with their Aadhaar card and linked mobile number for assistance.
Farmers can perform face-authentication eKYC by downloading the PM-KISAN mobile app and Aadhaar Face RD app from the Google Play Store, logging in with their registered mobile number, and scanning their face.
