The 2024 Kia Carnival boasts a significant design transformation, adopting a bold, SUV-inspired look. The front features a wider and more dominant grille, flanked by vertically stacked LED headlights and L-shaped daytime running lights (DRLs). The vehicle's road presence is enhanced by striking new 18-inch alloy wheels and side body cladding, which replaces the van-like profile with a more dynamic and robust aesthetic. This engine is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission and operates on a front-wheel drive setup. While India only gets the diesel engine option, international models also offer a 3.5L V6 petrol unit.
Launch and Bookings
Kia India opened bookings for the 2024 Carnival in mid-September 2024, with over 2,700 bookings received so far. The new Carnival was launched alongside the Kia EV9 electric SUV. The previous generation of the Carnival had sold over 14,542 units between 2020 and 2023 before being discontinued in 2023.
