40-Year-Old HCL Technologies Employee Dies of Cardiac Arrest in Nagpur Office

A tragic incident occurred at the HCL Technologies office in Nagpur, where a 40-year-old employee, Nitin Edwin Michael, a senior analyst, died of cardiac arrest on Friday, September 27.

According to reports, Michael was found unresponsive in the washroom of the company's office in the Mihan area around 7 pm. His colleagues promptly responded to the emergency and rushed him to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Nagpur, but he was declared dead upon arrival.

Police Investigation and Postmortem

The Sonegaon police registered a case of accidental death and sent Michaels body for postmortem examination. Initial findings indicated that Michael died of cardiac arrest. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death to determine any underlying factors that may have contributed.

Family and Company Response

Nitin Edwin Michael is survived by his wife and a six-year-old son. HCL Technologies has issued a statement of condolence, expressing deep sorrow over the loss and committing to provide all possible assistance to the family of the deceased employee.
