40-year-old HCL Technologies Employee Dies of Cardiac Arrest in Nagpur Office Washroom

A tragic incident occurred at the Nagpur office of HCL Technologies on Friday, resulting in the death of a 40-year-old employee. Nitin Edwin Michael, a senior analyst at the company, was found unresponsive in the office washroom around 7 pm.

According to the police, Michael entered the washroom and was later found unresponsive by his colleagues. They immediately rushed him to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Nagpur, where doctors declared him dead upon arrival.

Police Investigation and Autopsy Findings

The Sonegaon police have registered a case of accidental death and sent Michael's body for a postmortem examination. Initial autopsy findings indicated that he died of cardiac arrest. The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding his death.

Michael is survived by his wife and a six-year-old son. His sudden death has left his family and colleagues in shock.

HCL Technologies' Response

HCL Technologies expressed deep sorrow over Michael's death, describing it as an unfortunate incident and a tragic loss. The company stated that Michael was provided emergency healthcare support at the campus clinic before being rushed to the hospital.
