The Chief Minister Ladli Behna Yojana is a welfare program initiated by the Madhya Pradesh government to empower women and improve their socio-economic status. The scheme aims to provide financial assistance to eligible women, fostering their economic independence and overall well-being.
Eligible women must be local residents of Madhya Pradesh, married, widowed, divorced, or abandoned. They must also be between 21 and 60 years of age as of January 1st in the calendar year of application.
Women whose combined family annual income exceeds 2.5 lakhs are not eligible. Additionally, any family member who is an income taxpayer or employed in a government department or undertaking is also excluded. Women already receiving 1250 or more per month under any other social security pension scheme are also not eligible.
Each eligible woman receives 1250 per month, which is directly transferred to her Aadhaar-linked DBT-enabled bank account.
Applicants need to provide their Samagra ID or Family ID, Aadhaar card, mobile number registered on the Samagra Portal, and a personal bank account. The bank account must be Aadhaar-linked and DBT-enabled.
Application forms are available at Gram Panchayat, Ward Office, or Camp sites. Applicants must fill out the form with their photograph and submit it at the designated location. The application process is facilitated through the Ladli Bahna Portal.
To check the status of their application, women can visit the authorized portal (cmladlibahna.mp.gov.in) and enter their application number or Samagra ID along with a CAPTCHA code. They can then submit the OTP received on their mobile number to view the application status.
