The MHADA Lottery 2024 is an initiative by the Maharashtra Housing and Area Development Authority (MHADA) to provide affordable housing to eligible applicants in Mumbai and other regions.
A total of 2,030 flats are available in the MHADA Lottery 2024, catering to various income groups including Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Lower Income Group (LIG), Middle Income Group (MIG), and Higher Income Group (HIG).
To participate in the MHADA Lottery 2024, applicants must be at least 18 years old and have lived in Maharashtra for 15 continuous years. They must also provide income proofs and a Domicile Certificate.
Applicants need to keep several documents handy, including PAN Card, Aadhaar card, cancelled cheque, Domicile certificate, driving license, passport-sized photographs, and birth certificate.
The application process is online. Applicants must register on the MHADA Housing Lottery System IHLMS 2.0, provide necessary details, and make the earnest money deposit (EMD) payment through demand draft or online methods.
The online application started on August 9, 2024, and ended on September 19, 2024. The draft list was published on September 27, 2024, and the final list on October 3, 2024. The lucky draw will take place on October 8, 2024.
The flats are located in various areas of Mumbai, including Pahadi Goregaon, Antop Hill-Wadala, Kopri Powai, Kannamwar Nagar-Vikhroli, and Shivdham Complex-Malad.
Applicants can check the draft list by clicking on the 'Quick Links' on the MHADA lottery website. The final list can be viewed by clicking on 'Published applications' under the menu.
The winners will be announced on October 8, 2024, at 11 AM in the presence of Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde and Housing Minister Atul Save. The results will be live-streamed on YouTube.
