The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced a change in the exam format for Classes 11 and 12 starting from 2024-25. The new format will focus on concept application questions rather than long-form answers.

The CBSE has released the date sheet for the 2024 compartment exams for Classes 10 and 12. The exams will begin on July 15, 2024, and end on July 22, 2024. The compartment category has been assigned to 1,32,337 students from Class 10 and 1,22,170 students from Class 12.

3. How to Access CBSE Board Exam Results

Students can access their CBSE board exam results through the official website, cbse.gov.in, once they are declared. The results will be available on several official websites, including cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in. Students will need their roll number, school number, and admit card ID to access their scorecards.

4. CBSE Board Exam Dates for Class 10 and 12

The CBSE Class 10 board exams took place from February 15 to March 13, 2024, while the Class 12 exams were conducted from February 15 to April 2, 2024. All exams were conducted in a single shift, starting at 10:30 AM and ending on or before 1:30 PM.

5. CBSE Compartment Exam Details

The CBSE compartment exams for Class 10 will cover various subjects, including Social Science, Hindi, Science, Mathematics, and English. For Class 12, the exams will include subjects like Hindustani Music, Painting, Bharatnatyam-Dance, Odissi-Dance, Commercial Art, Kathak-Dance, Yoga, and Artificial Intelligence.

6. Importance of Reading Time in CBSE Exams

In the CBSE compartment exams, students will be given 15 minutes of reading time before the test begins. This allows them to understand the question paper completely and plan their time accordingly.

7. Submission of List of Candidates (LOC)

Schools must submit the List of Candidates (LOC) via the Exam Sangam link to participate in the CBSE Board Compartment Exam. Only students whose names were submitted online will be eligible to take the supplementary examination in 2024.
