Celebrating National Taco Day 2024: Deals and Discounts at Your Favorite Restaurants

Tuesday, October 1, 2024, marks a special day for taco enthusiasts as it is now celebrated as National Taco Day, aligning with the popular Taco Tuesday. This change was initiated by Taco Bell and the National Day Calendar to ensure that the celebration always falls on a Tuesday, making it a month-long festivity throughout October.

Taco Bell's Hourly Deals

Taco Bell is kicking off the celebrations with its biggest Tuesday Drops yet. Starting at 1 p.m. ET (10 a.m. PT), Taco Bell Rewards members can enjoy $1 tacos, with a different taco available each hour. The deals include the Crunchy Taco, Double Stacked Taco, Chalupa Supreme, Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Taco, Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco, Cantina Chicken Soft Taco, Soft Taco Supreme, Cheesy Gordita Crunch, and finally, the Soft Taco at 10 p.m. ET (7 p.m. PT). Each hour, 10,000 deals will be available for redemption.

In addition to these hourly deals, Taco Bell is offering special promotions throughout October. On October 8, five Rewards members will win a VIP visit to the Taco Bell Test Kitchen. On October 15, 500 Rewards Members can win a free taco every Taco Tuesday for a year. On October 22, 50,000 rewards members can pick one of eight Taco Bell classics for just $1. And on October 29, there's a chance to win one of 500 limited edition Taco Bell hoodie and cup bundles.

Deals at Other Restaurants

Taco John's is offering a free Beef Stuffed Grilled Taco with any purchase to members of its Bigger Bolder Rewards loyalty program. Additionally, Taco Johns will provide special offers to rewards members every Wednesday in October, starting from October 2.

El Pollo Loco is giving its Loco Rewards members the opportunity to purchase any three fire-grilled chicken tacos for $5 from October 1 through October 4. This offer is available in restaurants, on the app, or through the website, and includes free delivery on all orders on October 1.

Baja Fresh customers can enjoy a buy-one-get-one-free taco or taco combo deal through its app until October 4. To redeem this offer, customers need to use the code TACO2024 at checkout.

Fuzzy's Taco Shop is offering its OG Tacos for $1.50 all day on October 1 for dine-in and to-go orders, with a limit of 15 tacos per order.

On The Border Mexican Grill & Cantina is providing endless pulled chicken tinga and beef tacos for $10 through Sunday, October 13. Customers can upgrade to endless brisket or Southwest chicken tacos for an extra $3.

Del Taco rewards members can get The Del Taco for free with any app or online purchase on October 1, limited to one per guest per day.

Rubio's Coastal Grill is offering its Original Fish Taco for $2.50. On October 4, customers can get a free la carte taco with any purchase, and Rubios Rewards members who check in on the app could win a free taco every day for a year.

Other restaurants like Qdoba, where rewards members can earn double points on all purchases from October 1 to 3, and WaBa Grill, which is offering 50% off any Boom Boom Taco Trio on October 1, are also joining in the celebrations.

Long John Silver's is celebrating with a unique offer of two fish tacos for $5, featuring hand-battered fried Alaskan Pollock.

Tamayo, known for its authentic Mexican cuisine, is offering tacos for $3 during its Taco Tuesday happy hour from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., including carne asada, pork carnitas, and veggie tacos.

Laredo Taco Company, located within select 7-Eleven locations, is offering two Carnitas Tacos or Carnitas Bravas Tacos with a Big Gulp drink at a special price. On October 4, they will have Chicken Fajita Tacos for $2, with no limit on the number of tacos.

Broken Yolk Cafe, although sticking to the traditional October 4 date for National Taco Day, is offering buy-one-get-one-half-off Baja Breakfast Tacos in Southern California.

With these extensive deals and discounts, taco lovers have a plethora of options to celebrate National Taco Day and Taco Tuesday in style.
