Sarva Pitru Amavasya 2024: Date and Time Sarva Pitru Amavasya for the year 2024 will be observed on Wednesday, October
The government has announced the release date for the 18th installment of the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-Kisan) Yojana. According to the official updates, the 18th installment is scheduled to be released on October 5, 2024.
The 18th installment of the PM-Kisan Yojana will be credited to the bank accounts of eligible farmers on October 5, 2024. Each eligible farmer will receive 2,000, which is part of the annual financial assistance of 6,000 provided under the scheme.
The PM-Kisan Yojana specifically targets small and marginal farming families who hold cultivable land. To be eligible, the family must own up to 2 hectares of land in their name. This ensures that those who are most in need of financial support are the primary beneficiaries.
Farmers can easily check their beneficiary status online by visiting the official PM-Kisan website. Here are the steps to follow:
- Navigate to the 'Beneficiary Status' page.
- Enter either your Aadhaar number or account number.
- Click the 'Get Data' button to view your beneficiary status and verify the payment details.
To find your name in the beneficiary list, follow these steps:
- Click on the 'Beneficiary List' option on the right side of the page.
- Select your state, district, sub-district, block, and village.
- Click on the 'Get Report' option. This will display the complete beneficiary list for your village, allowing you to easily check for your name.
Completing the electronic Know Your Customer (eKYC) process is mandatory for farmers registered under the PM-Kisan scheme. Farmers can complete the eKYC through three methods:
- OTP-Based eKYC: Available on the PM-Kisan website.
- Biometric based eKYC: Available at Common Service Centres (CSCs).
- Face authentication-based eKYC: Available through the PM Kisan Mobile app.
For OTP-Based eKYC, farmers need to enter their Aadhaar number and registered mobile number, after which a One Time Password (OTP) will be sent for verification. For biometric authentication, farmers can visit their nearest CSC and undergo fingerprint or iris scanning.
For any issues or queries, farmers can contact the PM Kisan helpline numbers: 155261 / 011-24300606. These helplines are available to assist with any problems related to the scheme, including eKYC and beneficiary status.
