PUBG Mobile Introduces Ultimate Royale: A New Ranked Mode for Competitive Players

PUBG Mobile has unveiled a new ranked mode called Ultimate Royale, designed to provide an intense and competitive experience akin to professional esports tournaments. This mode was introduced with the PUBG Mobile 3.4 update, released on September 11, 2024.

Ultimate Royale is available during specific times in each major region, and players must check the in-game schedule to participate. This mode is played exclusively in Third-Person Perspective (TPP) squad mode, with matches taking place on either Classic Erangel or Classic Miramar maps under sunny weather conditions.

How to Participate and Qualify

To participate in Ultimate Royale, players must have achieved the Crown Tier or higher in any mode during the current or previous season. Eligible players can form their own teams or use automatic matching to be paired with other players. The mode features a unique scoring system and exclusive rewards, making it an attractive option for competitive players.

The top 500 ranked players at the end of the Ultimate Royale season will have the opportunity to try out for professional PUBG Mobile teams such as Alpha7 Esports, Vampire Esports, and REJECT. These players will also qualify for the PUBG Mobile Global Open (PMGO) 2025, which is set to take place in Uzbekistan and marks the first international event of PUBG Mobile’s 2025 competitive season.

Gameplay and Tiers

Each Ultimate Royale match consists of 16 teams of four players each, totaling 64 players per game. The mode is characterized by its competitive gameplay, with no bots and no red zones, making it a challenging environment for players. The spawn rate of supplies follows esports tournament standards, with an increased number of weapons, scopes, and attachments.

The Ultimate Royale mode features five tiers: Vanguard, Exceed, Supreme, Peerless, and Legend. Each tier, except for Legend, has five mini-tiers that require 100 Rating Points to progress. Players who reach the Legend tier or higher will earn medals as they advance through the mini-tiers, with their scores accumulated based on their major regions.

At the end of each season, players will be rewarded based on the highest tier they have reached. This new mode is part of PUBG Mobile’s commitment to providing players with the most thrilling and competitive experiences, offering exclusive rewards and creating unforgettable moments for participants.
