Rob Schneider: The 'Woke Empire' is Collapsing and Free Speech is Under Attack

Comedian and actor Rob Schneider has made bold statements recently, predicting the demise of the 'woke movement' in America. In a recent discussion on NewsNation's 'On Balance with Leland Vittert,' Schneider asserted that the 'woke empire' is on its last legs and will likely collapse within the next 12 to 18 months.

Schneider, known for his performances on 'Saturday Night Live' and in films like 'Grown Ups,' expressed his belief that people are tired of the cultural shift driven by what he describes as 'nothing more than Marxism disguised as politeness.' He emphasized that the current cultural landscape is shifting away from these ideologies.

Criticism of Government Policies and Free Speech

Schneider criticized the Obama administration for policies he argues enabled government entities to 'directly propagandize Americans.' He also referenced Mark Zuckerberg's recent admission of wrongdoing regarding the infringement of First Amendment rights during the COVID-19 pandemic. Additionally, he expressed concern over politicians like President Kamala Harris and Governor Tim Walz, whom he claims have labeled free speech as a 'privilege' rather than a fundamental right.

The comedian highlighted the importance of open conversation and free speech, citing a study from the Cato Institute that shows about two-thirds of Americans believe they cannot express their opinions openly due to fears of causing offense. Schneider emphasized, 'We must allow the best ideas to emerge, and the way to achieve that is through dialogue.'

New Book and Advocacy for Free Speech

Schneider has recently promoted his new book, 'You Can Do It!: Speak Your Mind, America,' which urges Americans to defend their free speech against what he sees as the radical left. The book draws on his personal experiences in Hollywood and his firm belief in the importance of free speech.

In his book and public appearances, Schneider reflects on his journey from a traditional liberal to a vocal critic of the progressive mainstream. He has spoken about his growing skepticism of vaccine safety and the public conversation around it, which he believes has become hostile towards questioning the 'expert' managerial class.

Personal and Professional Reflections

Schneider also reflected on his experiences with 'Saturday Night Live,' acknowledging the show's progressive leanings but praising its capacity to self-correct. He expressed admiration for the current ensemble and noted that the show has recently started to poke fun at President Joe Biden.

However, Schneider criticized certain late-night comedy programs for their handling of the pandemic, specifically calling out Stephen Colbert's 'd syring' segment as 'reminiscent of something from the Soviet bloc.'
