UP Class 2 Boy "Sacrificed" For School's "Success", Director, Staff Arrested

In a shocking and disturbing incident, an 11-year-old Class 2 student was allegedly killed in a human sacrifice ritual by the owners and staff of his school in Uttar Pradesh's Hathras district. The gruesome act was reportedly carried out to ensure the prosperity and success of the school.

The Incident

The victim, identified as Kritarth, was a student at DL Public School in Rasgawan village. According to the police, Kritarth was abducted from the school's hostel on September 23 by the school's owner, Jasodhan Singh, his son and the school's director, Dinesh Baghel, and two teachers, Ramprakash Solanki and Veerpal Singh.

The Additional Superintendent of Police (ASP) of Hathras, Ashok Kumar Singh, revealed that Jasodhan Singh, who believes in 'tantrik' rituals, had instructed his son to sacrifice a child to bring prosperity to the school and their family. The accused took Kritarth to a secluded place for the sacrifice, but when the boy woke up and began crying, they strangulated him to death.

Deception and Discovery

The accused attempted to deceive Kritarth's parents by telling them that their son was being taken to a hospital in Dinesh Baghel's car due to illness. However, the family members stopped the car midway and discovered Kritarth's lifeless body. They immediately informed the police, leading to the arrest of the five individuals involved.

Arrests and Charges

The Uttar Pradesh Police have arrested five people in connection with the crime: Jasodhan Singh, the school owner; Dinesh Baghel, the school director; Laxman Singh, the principal; and teachers Ramprakash Solanki and Veerpal Singh. An FIR has been registered against them under section 103 (1) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita 2023.

Investigation and Evidence

During the investigation, police found items related to "black magic" near the school premises. The post-mortem report confirmed that Kritarth died due to strangulation, with fractures in his neck, contradicting the initial claims by the school director that the boy had fallen ill.

Previous Attempts and Beliefs

The police investigation also revealed that this was not the first attempt at such a ritual. According to police sources, the accused had earlier tried to sacrifice another 9-year-old student on September 6 but had failed. Jasodhan Singh's belief in witchcraft and 'tantrik' rituals was the driving force behind these horrific acts.

Community Reaction

The incident has sent shockwaves through the community, raising serious concerns about the safety of children in educational institutions and the dangerous influence of superstitions. Local authorities have vowed to pursue justice, and investigators are continuing to comb through evidence to establish any other connections to occult practices in the region.

This tragic event highlights the darker aspects of superstition and the need for stringent measures to ensure the safety and well-being of children in schools. The case is a stark reminder of the dangers that can arise when superstition and belief in black magic are allowed to prevail.
