Registration Deadline and Process

The registration window for the UP NEET PG Counselling 2024 Round 1 is set to close today, September 28, 2024, at 5 PM. Candidates who have qualified in the NEET PG 2024 entrance examination must complete their registration by this deadline to participate in the counselling process.

To register, candidates need to visit the official website, `upneet.gov.in`, create a login, and then sign in to access the registration form. The registration process involves filling out the form with required personal and educational details, uploading necessary documents for verification, and paying the non-refundable registration fee of Rs 3,000.

Eligibility Criteria

Only candidates who have passed the NEET PG 2024 entrance examination are eligible to participate in the counselling. Additionally, candidates must have completed their compulsory rotatory internship by August 15, 2024, to be eligible for MD/MS/Diploma/DNB courses. For NEET MDS 2024 counselling, the internship must be completed by June 30, 2024.

Candidates who have passed MBBS/BDS from medical/dental colleges in Uttar Pradesh, except for certain institutions like Aligarh Muslim University and Banaras Hindu University, are eligible for state quota seats in government institutions. For private sector postgraduate courses, candidates from any medical/dental college in Uttar Pradesh or other states of India are eligible.

Fee Structure

Apart from the registration fee of Rs 3,000, candidates seeking admission in the government sector need to pay an admission fee of Rs 30,000. For private sector admissions, a security deposit of Rs 2,00,000 is required, which must be paid online.

After the registration closes, the next steps in the counselling process will include choice filling, seat allotment, and reporting to the allotted colleges. The complete schedule for these activities will be released soon by the Directorate of Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh.

Important Notes

- The registration portal will not be re-opened after each round of counselling.
