The ship was ordered in 2019, with its keel laid in July 2022 and the ship being floated out in September 2023. It completed its sea trials in May 2024 and was delivered to Royal Caribbean on June 13, 2024.

Perfect Day at CocoCay is a highlight of the cruise, featuring record-breaking waterslides, private cabanas, a swim-up bar, and exclusive amenities like the Coco Beach Club and Hideaway Beach for adults. The island offers multiple beaches, dining spots, and bars, ensuring a diverse and enjoyable experience for all passengers.

Current Operations

As of the current season, the Utopia of the Seas is sailing on its scheduled itineraries, although recent weather conditions such as Hurricane Helene have caused some delays in the return of cruise ships to Florida ports. However, the ship remains on schedule for its upcoming cruises.
