Uttar Pradesh has extended the admission deadline for various trades in Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs), providing a last-minute opportunity for aspiring students to secure their seats.

Extended Admission Deadline

The Uttar Pradesh government has extended the admission deadline for ITIs to September 29, 2024. This extension is aimed at facilitating more students to enroll in various vocational courses such as Computer Operator, Electrician, and other trades.

Admission Process and Requirements

Students who have been selected for admission need to complete the admission process by submitting their original certificates, mark sheets, and passport-sized photographs to their respective institutions. The admission process includes verification of documents and payment of fees.

Candidates are required to report to their allocated institutions between specified dates to complete the admission formalities. For instance, the reporting dates for the third round of admissions were from September 6 to 9, 2024.

Important Dates

The application process for ITI admissions in Uttar Pradesh began on July 10, 2024, and the initial application deadline was August 4, 2024. However, due to various rounds of seat allocations, the deadline has been extended to accommodate more applicants. The fourth round of seat allocations is scheduled to be announced soon, with the application period for this round having concluded on September 15, 2024.

Students are advised to check the official website of the State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT) for the latest updates and to verify their allotment results using their registration number and date of birth.

Regional Updates

In regions like Chitrakoot, students have been given an extension until September 30, 2024, to complete their admission process. This walk-in admission facility is designed to ensure that all eligible students can secure their seats in the ITIs.

Similarly, in other parts of Uttar Pradesh, such as Ghaziabad, the admission deadlines have been extended to facilitate a smoother admission process for all candidates.
