Will Smith and Michael Bay Reunite for Netflix Action Film 'Fast and Loose'

Will Smith and Michael Bay are set to reunite for their latest collaboration, the Netflix action film 'Fast and Loose.' This highly anticipated project marks a significant return for the dynamic duo, who first worked together on the 1995 action-comedy 'Bad Boys.'

The upcoming film, titled 'Fast and Loose,' follows a crime boss who suffers from amnesia after an attack. As he pieces together his past, he discovers that he has been living two lives: one as a crime kingpin and the other as an undercover CIA agent. The script was written by Eric Pearson, Chris Bremner, Jon Hoeber, and Erich Hoeber.

Michael Bay is currently in final negotiations to helm the film, which was initially set to be directed by David Leitch. However, Leitch left the project to work on his own action-packed film, 'The Fall Guy,' starring Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt.

Will Smith's return to action films comes after his recent success in 'Bad Boys: Ride or Die,' which grossed $400 million worldwide. This latest project also marks a significant step in Smith's career recovery following the infamous Oscars slap controversy in 2022.

Michael Bay, known for his high-octane action sequences and iconic films like 'Transformers,' has taken a brief break from directing. His last film was 'Ambulance,' starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II.

The production team for 'Fast and Loose' includes Kelly McCormick and David Leitch for 87North, Will Smith, Co-President and Head of Motion Pictures Jon Mone, and Ryan Shimazaki for Westbrook Studios. Executive producers are Robert Simonds and Noah Fogelson for STXfilms, along with Barry Waldman.

The reunion between Will Smith and Michael Bay promises to deliver an adrenaline-fueled experience that fans of both actors have been eagerly anticipating. With its gripping storyline and high-stakes action sequences, 'Fast and Loose' is shaping up to be one of the most exciting releases on Netflix.
