Microsoft has unveiled the first wave of games set to join the Xbox Game Pass lineup in October 2024, bringing a diverse array of titles to cater to various gaming tastes. Games Joining Xbox Game Pass in October 2024

Also joining the lineup on October 2 is Sifu, a highly acclaimed martial arts brawler known for its unique aging mechanic, where each death ages the character. This game will be available on Cloud, Console, and PC across all tiers, including Standard, Ultimate, and PC Game Pass.
Later in the month, Mad Streets, a physics-based party game, will be added on October 7, followed by Inscryption, a deck-building roguelike, on October 10. Both of these games will be accessible on Cloud, Console, and PC across various tiers.
One of the most anticipated additions is Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, which will debut as a day-one release on October 25, exclusively available to Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers.
Changes to Xbox Game Pass Tiers
The recent revamp of Xbox Game Pass tiers has abolished the prior Game Pass for Console tier, replacing it with Game Pass Standard. This change means that day-one releases will only be available to subscribers of Game Pass Ultimate or PC Game Pass. Subscribers who maintained their Game Pass for Console memberships before the change have been grandfathered into their old plans, allowing them to continue playing certain titles.
